Serves: 4

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Total Time: 10 minutes

 

Ingredients: 

4 medium avocados
1 small tomato, chopped
½ small red onion, minced
1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste), or to taste, or ½ jalapeño minced
½ teaspoon sea salt, plus more to taste
¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro leaves
1½ tablespoons fresh lime juice, plus more to taste

Steps:

1. Slice the avocados lengthwise around the pit and carefully remove the pit
2. Scoop out the avocado flesh and place it in a large bowl
3. Using the back of a fork, mash the avocado until as chunky or smooth as you like it
4. Mix in the tomato, onion, gochujang, salt, and cilantro
5. Stir in lime juice
6. Add salt and lime juice to taste
7. Serve
